Victor Obinna Pleads With Fans To Rally Behind Chievo
Published: February 14, 2014
This is his second stint with the Flying Donkeys, having previously worn their jersey from 2005 - 2008.
During that time, he scored 20 goals in 86 matches before jumping ship to Inter Milan.
“My trips to other countries has helped me to grow both personally and professionally. It was a surprise to me that I have been given shirt number 10,” Victor Obinna said to Chievo TV.
The Nigeria international has pleaded with the supporters to continue backing Chievo Verona as they battle to stay afloat.
“They must continue to support us. We are very grateful for their concern in our difficult times, and all the players hope to reciprocate the effort with three points.”
