Odeh Prepared To Start The Season On A High

Jigawa Golden Stars coach Rolandson Odeh is prepared for the Nigeria National League week 1 match against Wikki Tourists in Dutse today.

The highly experienced tactician spoke to allnigeriasoccer.com via a telephone  conversation and expressed satisfaction with his boys' readiness for the new campaign.

“All I can tell you is that the pool of players recruited by me are not in the mood to joke,” he told allnigeriasoccer.com

Odeh, who steered the team from relegation after taking over 12 matches to the end of last season, hailed the character shown by his wards.

On the expected threat that Wikki Tourists might pose Odeh said: “To be fair to them, I think we have a huge game to play - we expect that they will come out at us in the match.

“I don't think anyone can deny that we were worthy of grabbing the three points.”
