Felix Udoh : I Was Not Demoted To Partizani Tirana B Team
Published: February 15, 2014
Former Flying Eagles wingback Felix Udoh has set the record straight after reports emerged that he might have been demoted to the B Team of Partizani Tirana.
Udoh and compatriot Oladele Oshobe were omitted from the squad which lost 1 - 0 to Tirana on Friday in the 18th round of matches in the Albanian Superliga, fueling speculation of a fall out with the leadership of the club.
“This is not a demotion. We agreed with the management of the club to play for the B Team to keep fit because we could not travel to Antalya, Turkey in preparation for the second round due to visa issues.
“Since they came back, two games gave been played but we failed to make the squad.
“The new coach says he will keep monitoring our performance , that he needs some time to see us train,” Felix Udoh said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Felix Udoh still has contractual obligations with Partizani Tirana until the end of this season.
He has recorded 12 appearances for the capital team in the championship.
