Abdul Ajagun Targets Three Points Against Panthrakikos
Published: February 16, 2014
Ahead of the meeting with Panthrakikos, a game which corresponds to the 25th round of matches in the Greece Super League, Abdul Ajagun is optimistic that Panathinaikos will come away with all three points.
The Greens had lost 2 - 1 in the first stanza of the championship to the same opponents in front of their own supporters.
“Because we lost in the first round does not mean that they will win again.
“We will do our best and we will give our all to be victorious. Should play as the game against PAOK and then all will go well,” the attacking midfielder was quoted as saying by gazzetta.gr.
Though Ajagun has refused to throw in the towel as Panathinaikos are 28 points behind bitter rivals Olympiakos, the only realistic chance of silverware this season is winning the Cup.
