Marvin Ogunjimi Begins Training With New England Revolution
Published: February 17, 2014
Belgian - Nigerian Marvin Ogunjimi has started trials with MLS outfit New England Revolution with a view to a contract offer if he impresses manager Jay Heaps at the end of the exercise.
It should be noted that the 26 - year - old forward’s economic rights belong to Mallorca, who these days in Spain’s second - tier.
And it is for that reason he missed out on a move to Veria, with the Greek club insisting that they only wanted him on loan not on a permanent basis which the Spaniards failed to sanction.
If offered a contract by New England Revolution, Marvin Ogunjimi would be looking to kick start his career back into life again after his move to Mallorca failed to tick the right boxes.
In the last few seasons, the Belgium international was farmed out on loan to Standard Liege, Beerschot and OH Leuven.
