Nigeria youth international Sani Emmanuel has failed to convince Lechia Gdansk after two days spent in Poland testing with the top division team.
And as a result, Emmanuel has returned to Italy where he is under contract with Lazio for the next four months.
Respected Polish journalist Marcin Dobosz of Przeglad Sportowy explains further to allnigeriasoccer.com : “As far as I am concerned Sani was to be tested with Lechia for a week.
“But he failed to make a good impression so they sent him back to Italy after only two days.”
The former My People starlet claimed he was in Poland to visit a friend and not to attend trials.
This season , Sani Emmanuel has not played a single game for Lazio largely as a result of a heel tendon injury.
