Exclusive : Lechia Gdansk Manager : Sani Emmanuel Was Here For Trials

The dust has finally been settled after series of denials by Lazio striker Sani Emmanuel, 21.
Last week, to be precise on Tuesday, February 18, the Golden Ball winner at the Fifa Under 17 World Cup staged in Nigeria in 2009 underwent trials at Polish club Lechia Gdansk.
The Nigeria youth international was scheduled to train with the topflight team for a week but was sent back to Italy after only 48 hours, having failed to impress manager Michael Probierz.
“The truth is that he was here on trials but we decided to send him back, ” Michael Probierz.simply told allnigeriasoccer.com.
This is not the first time Sani Emmanuel has had a poor showing while testing with a European team.
He trained with Panathinaikos in September 2010 but left Greece empty handed without a contract.
