Nnamdi Oduamadi Nets First Brace In Italy
Published: March 02, 2014
Varese winger Nnamdi Oduamadi ended his mini goal drought for club and country, dating back to August 2013, with a brace against Reggina (4 - 3 ) on Saturday, his first pair of goals since he arrived Italy from Flying Sport Academy.
Former Nigeria youth international Daniel Adejo, regarded as one of the most technical defenders in the second - tier, was worse off in the encounter at the Stadio Oreste Granillo after his team conceded a goal in injury time.
Oduamadi, 23, first found the back of the net in the 75th minute before his match winner in the 92nd minute.
“I am dedicating my pair of goals to my family and friends because they were always there for me when things were not going smoothly.
“Yes I met Daniel Adejo after the game but we did not really have time to talk, so we just wished ourselves the best,” says Nnamdi Oduamadi to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The Super Eagle has been on the score-sheet for all the teams he has represented in the Serie B apart from Brescia.
