David Fuster: What Happened To Olaitan Affected Us
Published: March 02, 2014
Olympiakos attacking midfielder David Fuster has admitted that the injury to Michael Olaitan affected the team’s psyche and this contributed to the 3 - 0 loss to Panathinaikos on Sunday evening.
“The team will be giving everything in every match. I do not want to say excuses.
“Certainly what happened to Olaitan affected us, according to what we have learned is in stable condition.
“We thank him for the support and will strive for the best,” David Fuster told reporters.
Before the defeat to the Greens, Olympiakos had dropped only 4 points throughout this season.
The champions are 24 points better off than Panathinaikos in fourth place.
