Shola Shodiya Scoops Player Of The Month Award

Nigerian striker Shola Shodiya , 22, has won the BOV Player of the Month award for February .
The Birkirkara marksman has been rewarded after netting 4 goals in three consecutive matches including a brace against Vittoriosa Stars on February 8.
The Malta Premier League table-toppers accumulated nine points from the three games played in the month of February.
“I am happy to have won this award, my first since I arrived Malta.
“My target at the beginning of this season was to win the championship and this award will motivate me in scoring more goals .
“I want to thank everyone at the club - my teammates, coaches and fans - because without them I would not have been honored,” Shola Shodiya told allnigeriasoccer.com.
He has the ambition of playing in one of the glamor leagues in Europe to aid his cause of donning the Nigeria colors.
This season, Shola Shodiya has 11 league goals under his belt from 22 matches.
