Published: March 05, 2014
Ahead of the start of the Nigeria Premier Football League, Enugu Rangers Senegalese defender Pierre Coly has boasted that the Coal City outfit will win the championship.
The Flying Antelopes , who have not won the Nigeria top division for three decades, welcome Nembe City to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in their first game of this season this weekend.
“We are well prepared for the start of this season and my target is to win the championship of Nigeria.
“Nembe are a new team in the Premier League and they do not have that experience to stop Rangers.
“I would pick Warri Wolves, Dolphins and Enyimba to challenge us for the title this season,” says Pierre Coly to allnigeriasoccer.com.
29 - year - old Pierre Coly was on the books of Sharks of Port Harcourt before he pitched his tent with Enugu Rangers last term.
