Nosa Igiebor Faces Another Spell On The Sidelines
Published: March 06, 2014
Ahead of Real Betis’ clash with Getafe on Saturday, the Andalusian outfit practiced today without Nigeria international Nosa Igiebor.
The 23 - year - old has been battling with a knee injury for the past one week and club medics have recommended that he goes under the knife to correct the defect.
On Friday, the central midfielder will undergo arthroscopic surgery because of internal meniscopathy he is suffering from.
Though the specific time Nosa Igiebor will return to action will be ascertained after the operation, it is assumed he could spend at least one month on the sidelines.
If that is the case, he will miss matches in the championship against Getafe, Elche, Atlético Madrid, Levante, Malaga and Barcelona.
In addition, the former Warri Wolves ace will not be listed for the Europa League double header with neighbors Sevilla.
