Sunday Mba Takes Walk Of Shame Against Tours
Published: March 22, 2014
Sunday Mba could face further disciplinary action by the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) after he took the walk of shame against Tours in the 29th round of matches.
CA Bastia had to play with ten men for close to an hour after the Nigeria international was dismissed in the 34th minute .
The central midfielder violently tackled Leo Schwechlen, stamping his foot on the defender’s tibia and referee Ben El Hadj rightly sent him off.
Seven minutes after Sunday Mba went for an early shower, Andy Delort scored the match winner.
Apart from that incident at Stade de la Vallée du Cher on Friday night, Mba has only received one caution - a yellow card in the game against Châteauroux - in 13 matches played this season in all competitions.
