Before now, the Nigeria full back has suited up 2 times for Monaco in the French Cup and played another match in the Championnat de France, equivalent of fourth - tier.
However, manager Claudio Ranieri handed him his first start for the past five years in Ligue 1 against Lille.
His last appearance in the championship came against Marseille in May 2009 while defending the colors of Rennes.
