Austin Ejide Keeps Double Dream Alive, Hapoel Beer Sheva Advance To State Cup Semis

Hapoel Beer Sheva are through to the semifinals of the State Cup after a hard fought 3 - 2 win over Hapoel Rishon Lezion on Tuesday evening.
And that means their dream of winning both the League and shaking hands with the President is still alive.
Manager Elisha Levy included in - form Nigeria international Austin Ejide in his starting lineup for the second time in the competition this term, having made the substitute bench in the last round.
The visitors were two goals ahead within the opening 25 minutes through Gabay and Erel before Hapoel Rishon Lezion temporarily came back into the game thanks to Nachum (40th minute ) and Martin (66).
Nine minutes to the end, Elyaniv Barda decided the outcome of the meeting, firing the ball into the far corner past goalkeeper Daniel Mahloof.
Hapoel Beer Sheva have a date with Maccabi Tel Aviv next Monday in the Premier League.
