Nnamdi Oduamadi On Target Again For Varese
Published: March 26, 2014
While he is keeping an eye on one of the playoff positions, Varese winger Nnamdi Oduamadi reckons that his Serie B side need at least 50 points to stay afloat this season.
The Nigeria international netted just before the hour mark as Varese narrowly defeated Empoli 1 - 0 on Tuesday night at the Stadio Franco Ossola.
Once again, Nnamdi Oduamadi is enjoying life at the Leopards, with 3 goals in his first 6 games including his brace against Reggina at the beginning of this month.
“I will admit it was a very difficult match but thank God we were able to overcome the opponents in the end. I got a cross from our right full back and I headed in.
“Our aim is to get to 50 points to be sure of safety and get to the playoff zone by the grace of God,” says Nnamdi Oduamadi to allnigeriasoccer.com.
He is on loan at Varese from AC Milan until the end of this season.
