Official : Gbolahan Ariyibi Joins Tranmere Rovers On Loan
Published: March 26, 2014Through a statement on its official webpage, League One side Tranmere Rovers has announced that it has reached an agreement with Leeds United over the transfer of Gbolahan Ariyibi.
The 19 - year - old winger will remain at Prenton Park until June 30, 2014, or in layman’s language until the end of this season.
He made his debut on Tuesday night as Tranmere Rovers fell 2 - 1 at home to Swindon Town, joining the fray in the 42nd minute as replacement for James Wallace.
Gbolahan Ariyibi previously represented Southampton but did not play an official game for the first team before he was snapped up by Leeds United last December.
The youngster has been handed the number 25 jersey for the remainder of this campaign.
