Coach Nkiyu Bala Disappointed Flamingoes Crashed Out

The Flamingoes, Nigeria&rsquo;s Under 17 Women&rsquo;s Team, have crashed out of the ongoing Fifa World Cup after losing to Spain 3 - 0 on Thursday.<br />&nbsp;<br />A brace from 15 - year - old Patri Guijarro either side of the half and Nahikari Garcia&rsquo;s goal just before the hour mark condemned Nigeria to their first defeat in the competition. <br /><br />Disappointed with the exit of his charges, coach Nikyu Bala has praised the Costa Rica Federation and Fifa for organizing a flawless tournament.<br /><br />In his post match comments, Bala stated : &ldquo;Although we&rsquo;re disappointed that our adventure has ended too early, we&rsquo;ve really enjoyed taking part in this marvellous FIFA U-17 Women&rsquo;s World Cup, which has been fantastically well organised. <br /><br />&ldquo;It goes without saying that I&rsquo;m not happy with the way the match panned out or our performance, but there&rsquo;s nothing we can do about it now except try to put it behind us.&rdquo;<br /><br />Spain will now meet European rivals Italy on Monday, March 31 for a spot in the final.<br /><br />Photo Credit : fifa.com<br />
