Innocent Emeghara : I Did Not Expect This Error From Guarin
Published: April 01, 2014
Livorno attacker Innocent Emeghara capitalized on a defensive blunder in the 85th minute to score his fourth goal of the season against Inter Milan on Monday night.
The Amaranto were trailing their more illustrious opponents 2 - 1 until a wayward back pass by Guarin gifted them the equalizer.
Speaking to Rai Sport after the encounter at Stadio Armando Picchi , Innocent Emeghara said: “My goals are about speed, quality and responsiveness. Honestly I did not expect this error from Guarin, but we did press well and he did not have many ways to play the ball.”
Before he struck against Inter Milan, Innocent Emeghara has failed to find the back of the net for close to two months, with his last goal coming in the tie with Catania on February 2.
