Brown Ideye In Good Spirits Despite Five - Month Goal Drought
Published: April 04, 2014
Dynamo Kiev striker Brown Ideye is not losing sleep despite failing to replicate his past performances for the capital team this season.
Before the start of this campaign, the Nigeria international had recorded an impressive 29 goals in 55 appearances for the Kievites in the Ukrainian championship.
Brown Ideye has not scored a single goal in the Premier League for the past five months, dating back to his 66th minute strike against Volyn in the 16th round.
And against Dnipro last weekend, the 25 - year - old fired blanks despite manager Oleg Blokhin handing him a rare start, his fourth of the season.
“I will keep my head up, no matter what,” Ideye said via his official Instagram account.
Third on the table Dynamo Kiev are at home to Metalist this Sunday. Their opponents trail them on the log by 5 points.
