Yahaya Adamu Blames Red Cards For Collapse Of Defense
Published: April 07, 2014
Quang Nam attacker Yahaya Adamu has blamed the expulsion of two of his teammates for the 5 - 1 drubbing at hands of Dong Nai in the Vietnamese championship this past weekend.
With Quang Nam leading 1 - 0, the defense collapsed and let in five goals after the dismissal of Le Hai Anh in first half injury time and Nguyen Chi Huynh 16 minutes before regulation time.
“It is part of the game. We were leading 1 - 0 in the first half until we got the red card. Later, early in the second half, we got a second red card.
“I can not really say if the referee was fair or not. Sometimes it is the decision of the referee,” says Yahaya Adamu to allnigeriasoccer.com.
20 - year - old Yahaya Adamu has netted 4 goals in 10 games including a brace against Quang Ninh in the penultimate round.
Quang Nam have lost four of their last five matches on the road, and conceded 18 goals over those five games while scoring 6.
