Zenith St Petersburg Rubbish Claims Emmanuel Emenike Is Set To Join Team

Zenith St Petersburg have rubbished reports which originated from the Turkish Press that they are interested in the signing of Nigerian forward Emmanuel Emenike.
According to the earlier information from Turkey, Fenerbahce were willing to allow the Nigeria international depart the team this summer provided Zenith St Petersburg meet his valuation pegged at 21 million euros.
“Zenith is not negotiating for the acquisition of Emenike, information about the club’s interest to the Nigerian striker in the media is not true,”the Russian Premier League said in a statement.
Emmanuel Emenike notched up 24 goals in 51 matches for Spartak Moscow before his transfer to Fenerbahce last summer.
The 26 - year - old still has a contract with the Yellow Canaries until the end of the 2016- 2017 season.
