Published: April 13, 2014
It is the turn of Emmanuel Emenike to distance himself from publications that earlier linked him with a transfer to Zenith St Petersburg.
Recall that it was claimed that Fenerbahce and their Russian counterparts were holding high level discussions over the acquisition of the Nigeria international this summer.
Emenike told sportbox.ru : “Zenit interested in me? This is nothing more than a joke. Very funny. I do not know what else to say.”
The 26 - year - old striker still has contractual obligations with Fenerbahce until June 30, 2017.
