Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Emenike watched from the podium the 4 - 1 win over Antalyaspor last Sunday.
But he has since resumed training with the Yellow Canaries ahead of the Istanbul derby with Besiktas in the 30th round.
Fenerbahce are still on course to win their 19th Super League title and might even be crowned champions this coming Sunday if they defeat their neighbors at Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadı.
“It was difficult to watch the game from the stands. Against Besiktas, it will be very important I play for 90 minutes. I will score a goal that will make us champions. This will be my first championship since I came to Turkey.
“Then I will proudly go to the World Cup and represent my country,” the 26 - year - old striker was quoted as saying by Fanatik.
