Published: April 17, 2014Former 3SC Coach, now handler of a nationwide side Juvenile FC of Ota, Festus Allen has refuted the bribery allegation raised against him aftermath of his team forfeiture of three points and three goal to Atiba United in week 8 of Nigeria Nationwide League.
Allen who came on a scouting mission to Ibadan told newsmen that he do not have any knowledge about the alleged bribery case leveled against him which was recently published in an all sports newspaper which states that he had been suspended following a bribery saga.
“I was surprised by the report, this is my 16 years in football coaching business in Nigeria and I have never involved in such case, I came into lower League to help the game grow, so I cannot involve myself in anything negative to the game.
“The management has said that they are going to investigate the matter, so let’s wait for the outcome of their investigation, but for the purpose of putting the record straight, I never collected any money from an opposing team to earn points”, Allen noted.
