World Exclusive- Sporting Director, Sevilla: We Are Not Interested In Lukman Haruna
Published: April 18, 2014
Sevilla Sporting Director, Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo (Monchi) has dismissed reports at home and abroad linking the Europa League semi finalists with a move for Nigeria international Lukman Haruna this summer.
There have been speculations that Los Rojiblancos were in the market for a defensive midfielder as replacement for Cameroon National Teamer Stéphane Mbia, whose contract expires at the end of this season.
And unhappy Dynamo Kiev man Lukman Haruna was wrongly assumed to be negotiating with the La Liga outfit.
“We do not have any interest for this player - Lukman Haruna. I think this is an invention of the newspapers,” sporting director of Sevilla, Monchi told only allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation.
23 - year - old Lukman Haruna still has contractual obligations with Dynamo Kiev until June 30, 2015.
