While the Italian - Nigerian forward lasted the entire duration at Neo GSP (Nicosía (Levkosía), ex Flying Eagles stopper Rasheed Alabi was a 65th minute substitute.
“Alabi is a great defender with strength and pace, he is really difficult to play against. But the last 20 minutes of the game we were better and managed to come back,” Marco Tagbajumi said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
In the race for the top scorer award in the Cypriot First Division, the 25 - year - old has just scored one goal less than Gaston Sangoy, who has netted 18 times for Apollon.
“I will try my hardest to become the top scorer this year. I am currently one goal behind Sangoy, but even if I don’t make it as top scorer I am really proud of my achievements so far,” he added.
Linked with clubs in Israel, Romania and Belgium, the Italian - Nigerian still has a contract with Ermis until the end of next season.
