Fegor Ogude Not Surprised Coach Cherchesova Left Amkar Perm
Published: April 30, 2014
Fegor Ogude has disclosed that he is not surprised one bit that coach Stanislaus Cherchesova departed Amkar Perm to take over the managerial reins at Dynamo Moscow in April.
It was Stanislaus Cherchesova that recommended the signing of the Nigeria international from Norwegians Valerenga in the January transfer window.
And Ogude went on to flourish under the tutelage of Cherchesova, scoring 3 goals in his first 5 matches playing in a familiar attacking role before injury curtailed his progress.
“Everyone knew that sooner or later it will happen, but still hoped for the best. It’s a pity that all this happened.
“Indeed, precisely because of Cherchesovu, I am at Amkar and thanks to him immediately found my footing. This is a serious technician who knows for sure where he was going and what he wants.
“He always tells us the right thing, which allowed us to win and feel self-confident as a team.
“Even a few months of our work together gave me more than any of the previous seasons as a whole,” Fegor Ogude told the official website, fc-amkar.org.
Fegor Ogude was on the radar of clubs in Sweden and Israel before Norwegian - Nigerian agent Atta Aneke took him to Valerenga four years ago.
