Ramon Azeez Scores Against Real Betis Again
Published: May 04, 2014
One - cap Nigeria international Ramon Azeez netted the match winner for Almeria as they defeated Real Betis 3 - 2 on Sunday.
The central midfielder, a 74th minute replacement for Jonathan Zongo, registered his name on the score-sheet in the 94th minute to take his tally to two goals for the current season.
Last December, the former Future Pro Academy ace was also on target in the 1 - 0 defeat of Real Betis in a first round fixture.
With this victory, Almeria have swam out of relegation waters and destiny is in their own hands in the final two rounds, with only 1 point separating them from the last relegation spot occupied by Osasuna.
21 - year - old Ramon Azeez has suited up 28 times for the Andalusian outfit in La Liga.
