Mbong, Kyrian Nwoko Named In Malta Squad For Euro Under 17s
Malta Under 17 Coach, Sergio Soldano has published a list of 18 players summoned for the UEFA Under 17 championship which begins in the Island Nation on Friday.

<div>Joseph Mbong, the son of former Hibernians attacker Essien Mbong who lost his life last June, made the roster.</div>
<div><br /></div>
<div>And joining him in attack is another player that has Nigerian blood flowing in his veins, Kyrian Nwoko of St Andrews.</div>

<div>Joseph Mbong’s parent are both Nigerians and the mom still lives in Malta after she lost her husband while Kyrian Nwoko has a Nigerian dad and Maltese mom.</div>

<div>Malta are pitted in the same group alongside England, Netherlands and Turkey.</div>
