Super Eagles Climb One Place In Fifa RankingInternational governing body of football, Fifa on Thursday morning published the latest ranking of National Teams.

The Super Eagles did not play any international game last month but they are up one spot after the Zurich based organisation considered past matches involving the African champions.

Nigeria are now ranked in 44th position but that could improve when the next rating is published if they perform well in the tune - up matches against Scotland (May 28) and Greece (June 2nd)

Our rivals at the World Cup - Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iran - are ranked 7th, 25th and 37th respectively.

Spain, Germany, Portugal, Brazil and Colombia are the top five countries in the world. 

The next ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com on 6th June, 2014.
