Vincent Enyeama Fails To Win Best Goalkeeper Award
PSG goalie Salvatore Sirigu was named the Best Goalkeeper in Ligue 1 on Sunday evening in a gala ceremony ahead of Nigeria international Vincent Enyeama.

Even though the Lille custodian was said to be nailed on favourite to win the prize, he was beaten to it by the Italy international.

After 37 rounds of matches, Sirigu has conceded 23 goals while his nearest challenger Vincent Enyeama was beaten on 25 different occasions.

In his first 15 matches in the 2013 - 2014 campaign, the Super Eagle kept 13 clean sheets.

The other shortlisted goalies for the award were Steve Mandanda (Marseille) and Stephane Ruffier (Saint Etienne).
