Former Golden Eaglets midfielder Stanley Okoro, who netted his second goal in the Bulgarian championship on the final day of the season, is set to return to Almeria, the player, himself, has revealed.
Cherno More snapped up the 21 - year - old on loan from the Spanish side just before the start of the season after he impressed the technical crew during tests, and the agreement between both teams will officially expire in the next 11 days.
“I am so happy scoring against the champions of Bulgaria. Compared to when I was with the Almeria B Team, I am playing professional football here for a Premier League team. Football in Spain is faster than the Bulgarian championship.
“My contract with Cherno More is expiring this month, and I am returning to Almeria, ” Stanley Okoro said to SL10.ng.
Little Messi, as he was fondly called after the 2009 Fifa Under 17s staged in Nigeria, still has a contract with Almeria until the summer of 2016.
