Enugu Rangers Stopper, Pabi Sane Out For Two Weeks
Published: May 20, 2014
Enugu Rangers center back Pabi Sane has targeted a return to action in the next two weeks after spending the last six days on the sidelines due to a hamstring complaint.
The Senegalese defender, one of the first names on manager’s John Obuh team-sheet, picked up the injury in the away game against Heartland on May 14, and had to substituted late in the second half.
“I was injured during the game against Heartland and could not continue after I pulled my hamstring. My thigh is still swollen, it’s now in ice and I am receiving treatment.
“Of course, Pierre Coly and Cyril Oriaku can cope in my absence. I was not one hundred percent fit in my last three games before the injury and hopefully when I return in the next two weeks, I will be revitalized,” says Pabi Sane to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The 30 - year - old stopper has made 9 appearances in the Glo Premier League, missing 4 games through suspension and injury.
Enugu Rangers occupy the 12th position in the standings after 13 matches played.
