Nigeria were almost certain to progress to the next stage of qualifiers after they defeated the East Africans 2 - 0 in the first leg held in Dar Es Salaam two weeks ago.
The Flying Eagles talisman in attack, Alhassan Ibrahim opened the floodgates as early as the 7th minute, but 10 minutes later, Banda Hassan equalized for the visitors.
Celta Vigo youth - teamer Musa Yahaya restored the Flying Eagles one - goal advantage in the 34th minute, and the ovation that greeted the goal had not died down when Taiwo Awoniyi scored Nigeria’s third goal nine minutes before the interval.
Most of the pre - match talk centered around the form of Chidera Eze in training, and the Porto starlet justified his rating was merited, netting seven minutes after his introduction in the 69th minute.
Nigeria will clash with either Angola or Lesotho in August, with the winner booking a ticket to the African Youth Championship.
