Timothy Anjembe Admits Defense Is Hoang Anh Achilles Heel
Published: May 26, 2014
After 14 rounds in the V League, Hoang Anh sit sixth on the 13 - team table with 18 points, but have played one game more than Song Lam Nghe An, who occupy the next spot.
If statistics is your cup of tea, Timothy Anjembe has accounted for almost half of the team’s 31 goals, with the Achilles heel of the side being the defense.
“Football in Vietnam is always like that. The top players don’t always find themselves surrounded with such players that can help them make an impact.
“As you know a tree cannot make a forest, I can only try my best in front. I won’t strike and defend at the same time, ” Timothy Anjembe explained to allnigeriasoccer.com
Timothy Anjembe is the second highest goalscorer in the Super League, 3 goals behind compatriot Samson Kayode of Ha Noi T&T.
