Dynamo Kiev Doctor : Yussuf Ayila Much Older Than His Official Age
Published: May 26, 2014
Nigeria international Yussuf Ayila may have a wrong date of birth stated on his international passport, Dynamo Kiev team doctor, Leonid Myronov has told the Ukrainian media.
Going by the official documents he provided to Fifa and the Nigeria Football Federation, Ayila will celebrate his 30th birthday on November 4.
“ (His age?)This is a little-known, but much more than declared in official documents. If you prefer, you can check, this is elementary,” says Leonid Myronov to football.ua.
Yusuf Ayila arrived the Ukrainian Cup winners in 2003 from Union Bank, snubbing the overtures of PSV Eindhoven and VfB Stuttgart.
He was farmed out on loan to Metalist in the January transfer widow due to his lack of first team opportunities at the capital outfit.
