Celtic Skipper, Scott Brown Relishing Contest With Efe Ambrose

Ahead of the meeting with Nigeria at Craven Cottage on Wednesday evening, Glasgow Celtic skipper Scott Brown is relishing the confrontation with teammate, Efe Ambrose.
If manager Stephen Keshi does not tinker with his selection, Ambrose will be handed a role at right full back instead of at central defense, the position he usually plays at the Bhoys.
“I’ve been having some banter with Efe and it will be good to see him as we have had 10 or 12 days off since the end of the season.
“I might just play against him and get a bit of banter from him and see what he gives me!” the midfielder told Celtic View.
He added : “But it will be good to get a game for Scotland as it’s a while since I’ve played for my country and to get a team like Nigeria is great.
“They will be going to the World Cup and getting ready for it, while we want to see how good we are as we’ve had some great results lately and we want to continue that.”
When both teams met about 12 years ago, Nigeria came from a goal down to defeat the Scots, thanks to two goals by Julius Aghahowa.
