Moses Simon Impresses Ajax Legend, Marc Overmars
Published: June 02, 2014
Remember that the 18 - year - old trained with the Eredivisie side immediately after the Fifa Under 20s held in Turkey last year, but the trial did not lead to the offer of a contract.
Moses Simon’s 7 goals in 14 appearances for AS Trencin in the Slovak championship is an indication that Ajax might have made a mistake in their decision of not securing his signature.
“So far in 13 games, Moses Daddy has scored 6 goals with 7 assists. He was only 18 years old, and his statistics are awfully good.
“I’m not saying he’s coming to Ajax, but hopefully he stays another year at Trencin. We then look at how he is doing, ”director of football affairs of Ajax, Marc Overmars said to Voetbal International.
In his last three games in the Super Liga, Simon has registered his name on the score-sheet in each of the matches.
