Super Eagles Maintain 44th Position In Fifa Ranking

On Thursday, the official website of Fifa released the latest ranking of National Teams before the start of the World Cup in Brazil next week.
Compared to their ranking last month, the Super Eagles still maintain the number 44 position globally while in the continental ranking , the African champions are sixth.
Algeria, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Ghana and Cape Verde are the best 5 teams in Africa, according to the ranking released.
Our rivals at the World Cup - Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iran - are ranked 5th, 21st and 43rd respectively.
The next ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com after the mundial.
