England Based Trio To Lead Eagles Attack Against United States
Published: June 07, 2014
Lille custodian Vincent Enyeama will be in between the pipes, just as he did in the last friendly against Greece, for the Super Eagles last warm-up game against United States in Florida this evening.
Providing cover for him at defense are skipper Joseph Yobo, Godfrey Oboabona, Juwon Oshaniwa and Efe Ambrose.
John Obi Mikel (Chelsea), Eddy Onazi (Lazio) and Ramon Azeez (Almeria) start in midfield while England based trio Peter Odemwingie, Shola Ameobi and Victor Moses will lead the front-line.
Kenneth Omeruo and Ahmed Musa are being rested for this match after suffering knocks while Elderson Echiejile has a muscle complaint and will not feature.
Nigeria : Enyeama, Efe, Oshaniwa, Yobo, Oboabona; Onazi, Mikel, Azeez; Odemwingie, Ameobi, Moses
