Monaco fullback Elderson Echiejile has been ruled out of the World Cup with a muscle injury sustained in the Super Eagles last friendly against Greece.<br /><br />And the Nigeria Football Federation has quickly replaced him with Enugu Rangers winger, Ejike Uzoenyi.<br /><br />It will take up to three weeks before Elderson Echiejile resumes full training, meaning he would have missed all the Group games and perhaps a second round clash against a yet to be determined opponent, assuming Nigeria qualify for the last 16.<br /><br />Logically, Mamelodi Sundowns bound Uzoenyi will be handed the number 3 jersey earlier allocated to Echiejile.<br /><br />The versatile Uzoenyi has played left back for Gateway, Enyimba and Enugu Rangers in the domestic championsip.<br /><br /><br />
