Elderson Echiejile Reinstated In 23 - Man Squad?
Published: June 10, 2014
Remember that the Nigeria Football Federation has categorically not come out with a statement, denying or confirming reports at home and abroad that the Monaco defender has been ruled out of the mundial.
“I am happy to inform you that medical reports have confirmed that Elderson Echiejile would only be missing the first match. He would be ready for our subsequent matches against Bosnia and Argentina.
“The injury was not as been speculated. He has started training, though lightly. There is no cause for alarm and to put the records straight, I did not moot the idea of calling in any other player for now,” says Keshi to the newspaper.
Elderson Echijile, 26, has spent the last one week on the sidelines after he picked up an injury around the 40th minute in the tune - up match against Greece
