Huge Crowd To Witness Nigeria - Iran Clash

Bachir Omairi, an advisor of Clube Atlético Paranaense, has predicted that the crowd at Arena da Baixada on Monday afternoon will be huge when Super Eagles open their World Cup campaign against Team Melli.
Iran is predominantly a Muslim country while Nigeria is among the top 5 countries in the world with the highest Muslim population.
“It will be a large gathering. Nigeria is the second largest country in number of Muslims, second only to Indonesia.
“Iran is the third. Our relationship with them is very good, and the weather will be very friendly, ” Bachir Omairi said.
In the Carlsberg Cup Cup held in 1998, Nigeria defeated Iran 1 - 0 in their first and only meeting with the Asia powerhouse.
Ahmed Yaro Yaro Garba decided the outcome of the meeting in the 50th minute.
