Valere Houandinou : Oboabona Should Be Able To Play On Saturday
Published: June 19, 2014
One of Stephen Keshi’s backroom staff, Valere Houandinou, has claimed that Godfrey Oboabona should be okay for the Bosnia game after receiving ice treatment on his damaged feet.
Since after that injury he picked up against Iran, Godfrey Oboabona has been receiving treatment, missing the last two workouts held by the Nigeria selection, but the Togolese coach thinks he will begin practice soon.
“Oboabona foot was swollen and he was feeling some pain. After he had ice treatment and now the pain has eased.
“He will train and should be able to play on Saturday,” Valere Houandinou said.
Stephen Keshi will tinker with his central defensive partnership of Godfrey Oboabona and Kenneth Omeruo if the former Sunshine Stars skipper is unavailable for the tie with the Dragons.
