CSKA Moscow Coach : Nigeria Played Without A Pattern
Published: June 19, 2014
CSKA Moscow head coach Leonid Slutsky has refused to castigate Nigeria international Ahmed Musa for his performance against Iran.
And he had insisted that the formation of manager Stephen Keshi did not bring out the best in the 21 - year - old striker.
“I could not miss the game because of Musa. But if he was replaced, the TV would be turned off immediately.
“In the Nigerian national team, he does not solve anything. Anyway, Musa - the player is dependent, it must be clearly understood what he has to do on the field, and Nigeria played, to put it mildly, unsystematically.,” Leonid Slutsky told sport - express.ru.
He continued : “And about ratings: you know, I’m so familiar with the players, even some have bad games, even at the World Cup, but does not count in my eyes.”
