Stephen Keshi Targets Win Against Bosnia
Published: June 20, 2014
Speaking ahead of the clash with Bosnia, Nigeria manager Stephen Keshi believes that the Super Eagles will get their World Cup campaign back on track by defeating the European debutantes.
After the first round of fixtures, Nigeria are joint second on the Group F table with 1 point following the stalemate with Iran on Monday.
“Yes, we are confident. I know I talked to my players and I know we will come out winners. Bosnia is a tough opponent, has a good offense, but I’m sure we will have a good game and win.
“We have a passion for playing football. Our mood is very good, we are passionate about the World Cup and that’s how we’re going to the end,” says Stephen Keshi.
The Super Eagles defeated Greece 2 - 0 the last time they squared off with a European nation making its first appearance at the World Cup.
