Victor Moses Reveals Mystery Injury
Published: June 22, 2014
Liverpool winger Victor Moses , 23, was an unused substitute against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The former England youth international has now informed the public that a minor injury sustained before the clash prevented him from being in contention for a starting shirt.
The puzzle has finally been solved. Eyebrows were raised in the second half after the introduction of left winger Ejike Uzoenyi instead of the Chelsea loanee.
“Great win for us, the lads were brilliant and the fans were amazing. I hope to be fit for the Argentina game after a small niggle,” Victor Moses said.
He was on parade for 52 minutes at the Estádio Joaquim Américo Guimarães before making way for Shola Ameobi in the Super Eagles opening fixture with Iran.
