Oyo SWAN, Coaches Commiserate With Commissioner Over Passing Away Of Arisekola Alao

                    The Executive of the Oyo State Chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has commiserated with the Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Umar Farouk Alao over the sudden demise of his dad Alhaji AbdulAzeez Arisekola Alao who passed away in Switzerland hospital on Wednesday 18th 2014.
The body according to a release signed by its Chairman Mr. Seun Ajayi-Obe and made available to newsmen in Ibadan described the death of the philanthropist per-excellence and well-known Nigerian as a huge loss to the state and country as a whole.
“The former publisher of the defunct Monitor newspaper has touched the lives of millions of Nigerian through his great benevolent spirit which would be difficult to march by any Yoruba man”, the statement reads.
Also sympathizing with the youthful Commissioner was the Nigeria Football Coaches Association Oyo State Chapter, who condoled with the family in a statement issued and signed by its Secretary Lawal Abiodun Udi over the death of the religious leader.
The body however prayed the Almighty Allah to grant the Commissioner and his entire family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss while pledging to institute a befitting grassroots football competition in memory of the deceased.
