Ejike Uzoenyi Revels In Making Debut Appearance At World Cup

Mamelodi Sundowns bound Ejike Uzoenyi has expressed joy after making his debut appearance for the Super Eagles at the ongoing World Cup.
The petite winger was a late substitute for Ukraine based Michael Babatunde, who could not complete the game against Bosnia after pulling his muscle.
“It was like a dream but I thank God, the NFF and the coaches for making me realize the dream of playing at the world’s biggest stage in football. I am a fulfilled man,” Ejike Uzoenyi said.
Nigeria kept their World Cup hopes alive with a 1 - 0 win over the Dragons in Group F action on Saturday night.
They will next face one of the pre - tournament favorites Argentina in Porto Alegre two days from now.
